Reptile & Minibeasts in Animal assisted Therapy:  Improving Mental Health & Wellbeing

Working With Mental Health Practitioners

[Reptile Handling: Building Confidence, Self-Esteem & Improving Personal Health & Mental Health] Meet The Beasts Reptile & Minibeast Encounters Support Therapists in Hospitals, Clinics, Rehabilitation, Residential & Respite Care.

Our activities create a sense of well-being & achievement & stimulate communication & socialising in Mental Health patients.

All activities can be adapted to groups & one-to-one sessions.

Our animals come in different shapes & sizes making them great for most patients.

We are not trained practitioners ourselves. We support those working in health care (NHS & Private) & have personally experienced poor mental health, including depression.

Our calm, relaxed, friendly style creates a safe setting in which patients meet our snakes, lizards, tarantulas, scorpions, cockroaches & millipedes. They can then be empowered to face their fears, challenge them & overcome them. The results are increased confidence, enhanced concentration, improved mood & increased desire to communicate & socialise.
